Subcontinental Drift Presents:

Positive Exposure - Redefining Jihadis, Macacas and Freedom Loving People

The South Asian experience has been narrowly defined by current media.

POSITIVE EXPOSURE is your opportunity to respond.

What is your experience? We’re looking for photos around your experiences with:

people, food, love, sexuality, profession, freedom, art, masculinity, femininity, clothing, religion, strength, hobbies, pride, dual-culture harmony, breaking traditions, daily scenes in your life, items of significance…

and whatever else is part of *your* South Asian experience.

You do not have to be a professional photographer or of South Asian decent to tell your story. Everyone’s voice is valuable.

POSITIVE EXPOSURE photos will be on display for a month long exhibition at the Joan Hisaoka Healing Arts Gallery at Smith Farm on Washington DC’s U St. Corridor.

To submit a photo, simply join the Positive Exposure group on Flickr and add your photos. The deadline for submissions is Tuesday, December 9, 2008.
