Bring your stories, your poems, your music, your jokes to this inclusive and acoustic artistic space. If you’ve never performed at SubDrift, or any other open mic…what are you waiting for??

Come and speak your minds and hearts.

Where?
Bohemian Caverns, at the corner of 11th and U. We’ll be upstairs.
www.bohemiancaverns.com

When?
Monday, Sept. 29th. The open mic will be from 7-9, followed by the beats of our resident and guest DJs

Who?
Everyone Welcome // All Genres // All Acts //

Artist sign up starts at 6:30 pm. The mic is first come first to perform basis, so please arrive early! Also NOTE: If you think you might require a sound check before performing, please show up well before 7 to do this.

About Vijai Nathan:

In 1997, Vijai Nathan mortified her strict Indian parents by quitting her job, canceling her wedding & becoming a comedian- and she hasn’t looked back since! Vijai has performed nationally and internationally, opened for Russell Peters and has expanded her special story-telling style of comedy through her solo-shows, “Good Girls Don’t, But Indian Girls Do” & “McGoddess: Big Macs, Karma & the American Dream”, which will have its DC debut Oct. 10.
